Respectacle Company announces a new addition to their optical team
Our small family-run independent optical practice is excited to announce that we have welcomed a new addition to the Respectacle team here in Market Harborough.
With over ten years of optical experience, Chris will be working in a dispensing capacity. He has worked in both independent optical practices and for a well-known chain of high street optical stores. Chris holds a degree in Ophthalmic Dispensing, which he obtained from Canterbury Christ Church University. And with NVQ qualifications in the optical sector to his name, Chris has a solid base knowledge for products and spectacle designs. We feel lucky to have him join our team.
Throughout his career, Chris has worked with a wide range of eyewear collections from around the world. He has a great understanding of the high-quality frame materials we offer here at Respectacle Company. Having worked extensively with customised frame collections – where each frame is individually made and fitted for the specific wearer – his knowledge and fitting skills will come in handy for customers purchasing our bespoke wooden collection, Feb 31st. Not only can you choose from an extensive range of colour combinations, but Chris can ensure every frame will fit perfectly. Chris is looking forward to working with our diverse collections, from sustainable lines like Coral Eyewear and Vinylize, to the colourful and quirky eyewear from Lamarca, Albert I’mStein and Theo.
Chris has hit the ground running since joining the team. He has already taken part in some extensive training to understand Seiko Lenses and learn about the range of optical solutions these lenses can offer our customers. Chris will discuss and provide solutions for all your optical needs to ensure your eyes are protected and keep you looking fabulous throughout the year.
As a fellow spectacle wearer himself, he has a great understanding of prescription requirements for those of you whose optical prescription is a little higher. With his knowledge, he can advise about the most suitable frames and lenses for both your prescription and for your lifestyle and daily needs. He will also check the choice of frames to ensure the correct fitting.
Chris is a fan of Marvel comics. And should the opportunity arise, he will be in his element discussing the Marvel cinematic universe with any of our Marvel-loving customers. Yes, all 24 of them! In his free time, Chris also enjoys reading and will happily offer up recommendations to fellow book-lovers. One of his current recommendations is the award-winning ‘The Shadow of the Wind’ (by Spanish author Carlos Ruiz Zaffon). It is a Sunday Times bestseller and a Richard & Judy Book Club pick.
